Dr. Richard S. Cohen is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1976. He then attended The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated in 1981 as Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. His residency included rotations through various hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio where he received extensive training in forefoot reconstruction and diabetic care. Dr.Cohen treats patients of all ages from 6 months to 100 years old.
Dr. Cohen is board certified in foot surgery by The American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He holds a second board certification in Pain Management.
He has served as chief of the Podiatry section at Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham, MD. He is the medical director of Total foot care Surgery Center in Greenbelt, MD. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association. He is on staff at Doctors Community Hospital, and Total Foot Care Surgery Center.
Dr. Cohen has been practicing in the Greenbelt medical community for over 30 years. He is well respected by all members of the medical profession, of which many are his patients. Dr. Cohen was born in Washington D.C. and was raised in Silver Spring, MD. He currently resides in Rockville, MD with his wife and proudly cherishes his 3 daughters, 3 sons in law and 5 grandchildren.
Dr. Jeffrey E. Steinberg is a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998. He attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City and graduated in 2002 as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to complete a 3-year surgical residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey where he specialized in diabetic limb salvage and forefoot reconstruction, as well as sports medicine.
Dr. Steinberg is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has been practicing in the D.C./Maryland area for over 17 years and has practiced in private practice as well as the teaching hospital setting.
Dr. Steinberg was born in New York and was raised in Marlboro, New Jersey. He currently resides in Potomac, Maryland and lives with his wife of over 20 years and has two children. Outside of work, he spends his time playing golf with his son, hiking and biking with his family as well as automotive restoration.
